Love is like boomerang.

The first time I saw a #boomerang was in the movie 'The Dinner Game', the man keept sending it out but it was not coming back to him and the only time it did, it almost took his head off. The main character was laughing at man with the boomerang, but the whole thing was lost to me. I had no idea what a #boomerang was. Since then, a kind friend had shown it to me and explained how it works. A boomerang is a curved flat piece of wood that can be thrown so as to return to the thrower. He even took me to the park and showed me how it works. It is amazing to watch the boomerang, it looks almost magical but my friend said it has more to do with aerodynamic than magic.

From the many hours of lessons that he gave taught me, this is what I have learned about boomerangs. Basically, they are as #frisky as a woman's mood (sorry Jason, I could not use the same logical explanation as You.) The boomerang decides whether it would return or not. Sometimes, if the conditions are bad, it would never come back. Selecting suitable boomerang for the condition is important but that does not always guarantee success. Some boomerangs would not fly, no matter what. 

I think relationships are like boomerangs. The survival of the relationship depends on the two people's mood and character. You don't have a total control of the #relationship, it is a joint venture. Sometimes if the conditions are bad the relationship would be doomed. Selecting a suitable partner is essentially but it does not always guarantee a perfect, even a good relationship. Sometimes the relationship just does not work no matter what you do. Some people say, you get out what you put in, but that is not always true. Spending more time does not necessarily means you would succeed. 

As hard as it is, you have to know when to let go and when to walk away. Coming back is not always a good thing. Sometimes, the person would come back as you wished it and end up hurting you deeper than you have ever been hurt before. So, next time, before you wish for someone who left you to come back to you, make sure they are going to enrich your life rather than destroy it.
